Courses & Workshops

We run a number of courses and workshops for parents, guided by what parents tell us is important to them.  We offer a high level of individual support at every stage of learning, encouraging those who are finding it difficult, developing confidence and supporting parents for some time after the course has finished.

Because of our ethos and level of support, the retention rate (92%) for our courses remains high compared with many other organisations.

All details about up and coming courses and workshops can be found on our Updates page. Latest courses, workshops and other news

What you need to know

  • Courses are offered on a first come first served basis.

  • It is necessary for you to come to an enrolment session before the course begins.

  • Some of our courses have eligibility conditions depending on funders' requirements so please call us for details first.

  • Our free courses and projects are designed to be as practical as possible for parents. That means combining carefully crafted syllabuses with a teaching approach that prepares parents to put their new skills into action.

  • Classes are small enough for every parent to be treated as an individual.

If your organisation would like us to run a workshop or course, or for consultation on engaging and supporting parents, please contact us.
