Knife Crime Ambassadors

Our Ambassadors are continuing to look at ways they can raise awareness of Knife Crime in the Borough, and have already come up with some brilliant ways to deliver such an important message. They have written poems, created podcasts, and are working on an information Leaflet for Parents.

There will be more information available as this programme develops.

Walking programme

In response to a number of GPs who were advising walking as a good form of exercise for those who wanted to improve their physical wellbeing, we started a Walking Project. We researched the area and found pleasant and interesting routes. It took a while to get people to come but we now have a small group led by a staff member and a volunteer.

Gardening project

In an area where so many people live in flats without any outdoor space, we wanted to share the garden at the Parent House. We set up a pilot group of parents and volunteers who are working on the garden. We hope to conitnue and expand this project. The programme is supported by the Mayor of London.
